Is the AI really free? What's the catch?
Yes. All AI runs on Groq's free tier (Llama 3.3 70B) — there is no catch. Get your free Groq API key at console.groq.com, add it in Settings → API, and you're done. You can use your own Anthropic or OpenRouter key if you prefer.
Does my data persist after I close the browser?
Yes. All data (jobs, candidates, clients, activity log) is saved to your browser's localStorage automatically after every change. It survives tab closes, refreshes, and browser restarts. For real accounts, Supabase syncs in the background.
Can multiple recruiters in my team use it?
Yes — on the Agency plan, go to Settings → Team and invite team members by email. Each person gets their own seat with role-based access (Admin / Recruiter / Viewer).
How does the career site work for candidates?
When you mark a job as 🔥 Hot Job, it's automatically published to your public careers.html page. Candidates apply there, and the application shows up in your pipeline immediately.
Are GST invoices supported?
Yes. Go to Invoices, fill in your GSTIN and client details, and download a GST-compliant invoice PDF. Razorpay billing for your RecruitEasy subscription also generates GST invoices automatically.
Is the platform DPDP compliant?
Yes. RecruitEasy is built in compliance with India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023. Candidate data is stored in India (AWS Mumbai), never sold or shared, and you can export or delete all data at any time.
Can I import my existing candidates from Excel?
Yes. Go to Bulk Import, download the sample template, fill in your data, and upload. RecruitEasy maps the columns automatically. Supports both CSV and Excel (.xlsx) files.
What is the AI Conversational Interview, exactly?
It's an AI-led screening interview. You create a link for a candidate — they answer 8–12 role-specific questions via a chat interface. When done, you get a scored report (0–100) with Communication, Technical Depth, Confidence, and Culture Fit scores plus a hire/no-hire recommendation.
